Donations

Donations

Saving furry lives come at a cost other than time. Rescue equipment, food, veterinary care, flea and worming treatments etc – all these items are required on an ongoing basis.

  • $70.00 – One desexing operation (on average)
  • $10.00 – Single time Flea and worm treatment
  • $12.50 – Bag of Cat litter
  • $250.00 – Trap
  • $45.00 – Trap Cover
  • Any amount – for community cat food, foster care expenses

We are a non-profit organisation (Charities Register Number 53259) and rely on donations and gifts to do what we do! We do not have paid staff or a fancy office to work from, every dollar donated goes towards the cats and kittens that are in the care of CCC members or in community cat colonies managed by CCC members.

The work we do is only possible due to the generosity of our donors – Help us to save lives and please donate now!

We have a dedicated charity bank account for direct donations: 12-3054-0005265-00

You can also donate via our givealittle page.

Food donations and other items

The CCC feeds and provides lifelong care to more than 2000 cats across the Auckland region. We also use a lot of cat food while cats are re-cuperating after de-sexing and being cared for prior to adoption. We receive some donations of food and other items from generous companies, but our members mostly meet this expense themselves.

Any donations of food and other items would be greatly appreciated. We have collection points across the city from Warkworth to Pokeno and everywhere in between, so please contact our food donations co-ordinator Haley Beatson on 0223281986 if you would like to be put in contact with a local member in need.
